Baby Books

N & I are big readers... we are book junkies, and lately everytime I've been out I've grabbed a book for the guys. Since they've been awake alot more we've been reading to them alot lately, & it is amazing to see how much they enjoy listening. They even stare at pictures-- I love it! Dr. Suess's ABC's is a big favorite, bc there's a picture of a red rhino ("R" of course!) that both dudes will happily stare at for ages. Any reccommendations or favs of yours (or your LOs) that you all would like to share? We're big Dr. Suess fans here, & N has been reading them financial news too... it's really funny, but as long as he's reading to them right? :)

  1. That is so sweet! We read to Hannah very early and she loves to read now. One of her favorites is the Tooth Book, I don't think it is by Dr. Suess, but it is one of those that is usually sold with the Dr. Suess books, if that makes sense. :) I can recite that entire book by memory now.

  2. Hmm, With Rylee her favorites are, Newton and the big mess, What bear likes best, In a people's house, and of course the Dr. Suess books.

She also likes the David books. I can't think of who they are by besides David.

One of my favorites was Brown Bear what do you see. I saw that it is back in production.

  4. Hey- I am a reader of your blog from WebMD. I was on some of the IF TTC boards and followed some of your story. Congrats on beautiful twin boys.

OK- to your question. My son is 4 so we are really into How do Dinosaurs go to School, How do Dinosaurs go to Sleep.....and so on. They are very colorful and have tons of animation. It might give N a chuckle or too as well.

  6. Noah goes crazy over Fox In Sox. He squeals throughout the entire book. I like Dr. Suess too, and find myself speaking in rhyme after reading too much :)

  7. Hi,
I am also a follower of your's from WebMD. Your boys are beautiful!!

Oliver loves books! He really enjoys the touch and feel books, but the boys may be a little young for those still. His favorite "reading" book is Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire.

    Hope that helps!

  8. We don't know Grady's fave yet, but have been reading a lot to him.
My 2 1/2 year old niece, however, LOVES "Where the Wild Things Are". I just posted a video from my sister of her "reading" it on my facebook that I think you'll get a kick out of. You know, with all your spare time :)
