The Sky is Crying

It's really just raining out, but it fits my mood. Still in NICU limbo, both boys now on o2, which we think is helping, but won't know til they try them off of it, & both boys had scary events today, which has left me pretty shattered this evening.

thank you so much for all your kind words yesterday... this very scared & lonely new mom is grateful you guys care enough to keep sending such supportive comments.

  1. Oh Kate! I wish I could just give you a big ole hug. Keeping you in my thoughts! Keep your head up - everything will be okay, you are just having to go through a rough time right now. Your boys are strong and will thrive!

  3. Kate, I am so sorry that lately it seems like more downs than ups. A one-hit, short-term crisis is tough. But the constant grind, the protracted nature of a situation like this - it takes its toll on us physically, mentally, spiritually, financially - you name it. You start to feel like a severe manic-depressive, with moments of sheer joy followed by a plunge into the abyss. If understanding were healing you'd be all set, because I've been there. Unfortunately, understanding is only that - understanding. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. If there is anything at all I can do, please just say the word.
